Great progress on Country Club construction

THE MUCH-ANTICIPATED $12.5 MILLION GEMLIFE PALMWOODS COUNTRY CLUB IS ON TRACK FOR COMPLETION EARLY NEXT YEAR WITH GREAT PROGRESS BEING MADE ON THE INTERIOR BUILD.

The construction team has been making great headway inside the building which boasts 4800 square metres of floor space over three levels, with first level joinery into the library and craft room now complete.

Meanwhile on the lower ground floor, the lawn bowls area has been prepared and is awaiting carpet to be laid with tiling also set to commence soon. The plaster board has been completed in all but the ballroom and 95 percent of windows have been installed.

“It’s really starting to take shape now and residents are getting very excited as they watch it all come together. It’s going to be fabulous and we can’t wait,” said GemLife Palmwoods Sales Manager Liz Milroy.

“The Country Club is going to form the heart of the community, providing homeowners with plenty of choice to enjoy a vibrant high-quality lifestyle no matter their interests.”

She said the minimalist architectural style together with use of natural, organic materials, would together create a space that is in harmony with the Palmwoods area and its beautiful surroundings.

The progress on the upper level which boasts a creative arts studio, library, music room and boardroom and the lower ground level with its yoga studio, floodlit tennis court, covered floodlit lawns bowls green, residents’ workshop, outdoor deck with sunken lounge and commercial-grade kitchen, has been exciting for residents to watch.

“Many are champing at the bit to get in and use all the fabulous facilities the Country Club will provide. It won’t be long now, it’s getting closer and closer.”
