Country Club gets thumbs up from residents

WHEN IT COMES TO ENJOYING AN ACTIVE AND FULFILLING LIFESTYLE, RESIDENTS AT GEMLIFE RAINBOW BEACH OVER-50S LIFESTYLE RESORT ON THE NSW MID NORTH COAST HAVE IT ALL WITH THE RECENT OPENING OF THE $10.5 MILLION COUNTRY CLUB.

The new venue supplies a plethora of sporting, lifestyle and social facilities for residents right on their doorsteps.

GemLife Rainbow Beach homeowner Ross Turner said the new facilities are brilliant.

“I’ve only used the swimming pool and cinema so far but am looking forward to using the gym which has some excellent equipment for anyone wanting to keep fit and healthy, as well as the golf simulator. Sandra and I have also been to Friday night drinks which is great for meeting new people. I can see this becoming a real social hub for everyone.”

Ed and Kathy Hughes said they had never seen anything quite as marvellous as the new GemLife Rainbow Beach Country Club.

“It’s a lot more than we were expecting. The decor is amazing! We plan to use all the facilities, especially the swimming pool, library, gym, golf simulator and hairdressing salon, as well as the ten-pin bowling alley. We were in a league 30 years ago and now we can get back to it again. It’s very exciting.”

David and Jacquie Ledgerwood said the new facility was exceptional and a place they will frequent often.

“We will get a lot of use out of it. The Country Club’s size and facilities are really impressive and there have already been many social functions held there since it opened on 21 December. All the facilities are getting a major workout, and we love the fact we can also use the library without having to go into town.

“David’s also looking forward to playing on some of the world’s best golf courses on the golf simulator. The ten-pin bowling alley and billiard tables are also proving really popular,” Jacquie added.

Don and Lynette Schumacher said the Country Club was amazing.

“We sold our farm in Tasmania and moved into the resort on the morning the Country Club opened. Now fully retired, we plan to use all the facilities and are enjoying meeting new friends at social drinks on Friday nights.”
