Palmwoods eats – Palate pleasing hot spots

Palmwoods eats

With Rick’s Garage and The Palmwoods Hotel having made their place in the area’s food scene for decades, Palmwoods has always been a hotspot for foodies. New eateries are attracting attention in Palmwoods with Chew Chew Bistro at the shed, Rick’s Bakehouse (an extension of Rick’s Garage), as well as Piggyback from successful restauranteur Tony Kelly of Rice Boi and Giddy Geisha Fame.

Nestled in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, Palmwoods is an idyllic town ensconced in nature and boasts the spectacular backdrop of the Blackall Range. This quaint rural area has a strong sense of community and is known for its iconic eating establishments.

GemLife Palmwoods Sales Manager Liz Millroy said that future residents of the resort are fortunate to have an amazing variety and selection of eateries right at their doorstep.

“Our locals can’t get enough, and tourists keep coming back for more. Leisa (GemLife Palmwoods Sales Consultant) and I sat down for a meal at Rick’s Garage recently, and we had our cravings satisfied with tasty burgers and shakes,” Liz said.
