Rockin’ the River Festival
Tumbulgum is one of the Tweed region’s best kept secrets. Located on the Tweed River,
this charming little hamlet will come alive to the sound of rock and blues between 10 and 11 November. Featured artists include James Blundell, Ingrid Mae and Jarrad Wrigley, and the concert takes place at the Tumbulgum Tavern.

U3A Southern Gold Coast
Get ready to learn something new and make plenty of friends along the way. U3A Southern Gold Coast offers an interesting and varied program of classes and activities for over 50s on the southern Gold Coast and the Tweed. Classes include languages, guitar, art history as well as computer skills.
The group meets at the Kirra Hill Community Centre, 1 Garrick Street, Coolangatta.

Tweed Heads Community Men’s Shed
Enjoy woodworking and metalworking as well as the camaraderie of other blokes at the Tweed Heads Community Men’s Shed. The workshop is open 8am to 1:30pm Monday to Thursday and hosts regularly organised day outings for members. The group also manages the Tweed Markets held each Sunday at Recreation Street Park.
