AFTER THE OUTSTANDING SUCCESS OF THE INAUGURAL GEMLIFE GAMES IN 2023, THE EVENT IS BACK AND BIGGER THAN EVER!
“It was incredible to see the standard of competition and the full-throated support that all the participants received during the competition,” said GemLife Director and CEO Adrian Puljich.
“The excitement and camaraderie on the day was contagious with many people making new friends across GemLife resorts. And it was fun to see the GemLife Games party continue long after the awards presentation.
“That’s why we’re thrilled to announce that the Games are back for another year.”
The 2024 GemLife Games will be held at GemLife Palmwoods at its brand-new, three-level Country Club.
To be held over two days, between 5 and 6 September, the games will be expanded to include eight sports: tennis, pickleball, table tennis, ten-pin bowling, eight-ball pool, golf simulator, lawn bowls, and swimming.
“In response to feedback from our first event, we wanted to ensure there were plenty of opportunities for individual competitors to shine and that’s why we have added swimming to this year’s event,” said Adrian.
“And it’s not just new sports! This year we’ll be welcoming teams from Rainbow Beach, Gold Coast and Tweed Waters to the competition. They’ll be joining Palmwoods, Maroochy Quays, Pacific Paradise, Bribie Island, Highfields, and Woodend.

We’re seeking expressions of interest from homeowners at GemLife Palmwoods, GemLife Maroochy Quays and GemLife Pacific Paradise to be homestay hosts for the games. More details to come next month.
