That’s a wrap for Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea

GEMLIFE’S AUSTRALIA’S BIGGEST MORNING TEA FUNDRAISING EFFORTS FOR CANCER COUNCIL AUSTRALIA HAS LEFT A SWEET TASTE FOR THE FIFTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR.

Thanks to GemLife Chef Matt Conquest’s hard work in baking this year’s sweet treats for the slice drive, and generous support through purchases, private events, and GemLife’s Biggest Morning Tea events, the 2023 GemLife Cancer Council Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea raised a total of $4,594.90.

Slice drive orders totalled 362 packs – 117 lemon and coconut slice boxes, 114 boxes of salted caramel slices and 131 of the duo boxes of slices, with $2,172 raised in slices.

Six of the resorts celebrated in style at their own official event days put on by GemLife, with Chef Matt catering for residents and providing scrumptious treats while helping the fundraising cause. Morning teas were for contract holders generosity was at an all time high with the following funds raised.

GemLife Director and CEO Adrian Puljich says he is happy with this year’s fundraising efforts and looks forward to upping the ante in 2024.

“It’s been another successful year for GemLife contract holders, and their innovative ideas and fundraising efforts have made me very proud,” Adrian said.

“The generous contributions from everyone in the community has exceeded expectations and we thank everyone who purchased Chef Matt’s delicious baked goodies and hope next year will be even bigger and better.”
