Living Proof – What’s on in episode two!

Hidden Gems - Port Fairy

AFTER AN INCREDIBLE RESPONSE TO THE PREMIERE OF LIVING PROOF LAST MONTH, GEMLIFE’S NEW LIFESTYLE SHOW PROMISES EVEN MORE INSPIRING AND INFORMATIVE CONTENT IN EPISODE TWO.

To go live at 3pm on Friday, 30 September, read on for a snapshot of what you can expect in the second episode of this ongoing series.

Health Check
In the second episode of Living Proof’s Health Check, dietician and metabolic health expert Carly Barlow talks to GemLife Maroochy Quays homeowner Deanne Allan about increasing her calcium intake to help better manage her osteoporosis while taking into consideration her gluten and lactose intolerances. Osteoporosis is a common bone disease impacting about 3.8 per cent of Australians and one in four women aged over 75.

Express Yourself
Hosted by fashion and image consultant Tasha Homan, Living Proof’s second Express Yourself segment takes GemLife Woodend homeowner Barbara Spry through the collaborative and
fun process of a wardrobe, hair and makeup update. After two years of Victorian COVID-19 restrictions, watch Barbara’s confidence bloom after her transformation with Tasha plus a chic new haircut by local hairdresser Signy Connell of Romsey Hair Hub.

Hidden Gems
Hosted by experienced presenter and passionate traveller Graham Moore, Living Proof’s second Hidden Gems segment will explore Port Fairy, a historic fishing town located on Victoria’s far south-west coast on the Moyne River between Portland and Warnambool. From the town’s impressive architecture and charming bluestone lighthouse to a true hidden gem of an eatery, the segment is sure to whet your appetite for a Victorian coastal adventure (see pages 20-21 for details).

Tech Savvy
Hosted by respected Australian technology journalist, podcaster and commentator, Stephen Fenech, Living Proof’s second Tech Savvy segment demystifies the use of QR codes on your smartphone when eating out. The pandemic ushered in their widespread use at restaurants and cafes but for many diners the process of using QR codes is off-putting. Boost your confidence in using QR codes, learn more about the ‘electronic waiter’ trend that’s here to stay, and find out what to do if your phone can’t scan a code.
