MEET MOLLY AND PEPSI, ‘KISSING COUSINS’ WHO LOVE NOTHING MORE THAN TO STRUT THEIR STUFF AROUND THE GEMLIFE RAINBOW BEACH RESORT.

Resident Margaret Nugent couldn’t be happier with her new GemLife home. She moved in with her six-and-a-half-year-old shih tzu in March, and neither of them have looked back.

“Molly’s been with me from six weeks of age, and we have been together ever since,”

Margaret said. “She’s settling in very well and just loves it here. She sits out the back in my alfresco area on her little trampoline in the sun, just enjoying her days.

“When I’ve been out and come home, Molly does little spins in a circle with excitement. She’s having a blast right now, as I’m currently looking after my daughter Sonya’s designer dog called Pepsi, who’s just gorgeous.

“She’s a poodle cross cocker spaniel so a doodle of some sort,” Margaret laughs. “I can’t keep up with all these fancy new breed names, but she is beautiful, and my grandkids named her Pepsi because of her colour.”

Margaret said that Molly and Pepsi are the best of friends when they spend time together.

“My daughter had to go to Sydney for a few days for her kid’s netball events, so Pepsi is staying with us. I’ve got her here right now, but my daughter is coming home soon so we are fitting in as much as we can during her visit.

“We plan a big walking venture around the resort when my daughter returns, and the girls can’t wait!”
