Maroochydore Men’s Shed
Enjoy the company of good mates all the year round at the Maroochydore Men’s Shed. The Shed is located at 11 Progress Road, Maroochydore and provides a large, air-conditioned meeting hall and a well set up workshop, as well as a library and separate meeting room. The workshop allows woodwork and metalwork, with equipment for large and small projects. While members can make items for themselves, most of the work is undertaken to assist the community. The Shed is open Monday to Friday mornings between 8:30am and 12:30pm for members working on projects and those wanting a cuppa and a chat.

Bonsai Brewhouse
Bonsai Brewhouse is a self-described rustic brewhouse and beer garden that specialises in craft beer. Taking up residence in a heritage-listed building in Cooran, the space sets the mood for a good long tasting session with family and friends. Their sons’ namesake beers – Archie’s Ale and Layne’s Lager – are a special tribute, and the Irish Stout or refreshing Sungazer – made with local ginger, raw honey and organic green tea – are ones to try if you’re feeling adventurous. There is also a gluten-free brew at the brewhouse, located at 28 King Street, Cooran.
