SALVOS STORE TWEED HEADS

Salvos Stores can be found all over Australia and 100 percent of the profits support The Salvation Army programs which gives to people in need in the community.

They accept clothing, footwear, accessories, homewares, toys, books, CDs, DVDs and small electric items in good condition. You can choose to drop off at the store at Tweed Heads any time between 9am and 5pm from Monday through Saturday. Or post your donations for free by simply downloading an Australia Post shipping label and dropping it off at your local Post Office or Australia Post Box. If you want someone to collect it from your house, call 13 72 58 to book a free home collection.

ANIMAL WELFARE LEAGUE QUEENSLAND (AWLQ)

The AWLQ is a not-for-profit charity which focuses on the care and rehoming of abandoned, stray, and surrendered animals in Southeast Queensland while providing affordable veterinary care through their Community Vet Clinics.

They accept good quality clothing, furniture, bric-a-brac and homewares. Goods can be dropped off at the Tweed Heads store from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday. Or post donations for free by downloading an Australia Post shipping label and dropping it off at the local Post Office or Australia Post Box. Organise a free collection by calling 137258.
