Thumbs-up for our Highfields’ green-thumbs!
Our residents’ Garden Group members were no shrinking violets in the community garden over the weekend, making the most of the sensational spring sunshine to plant vegetable and herb seedlings. Tomato, chilli, lettuce, rhubarb, eggplant, onion, zucchini, carrots, beetroot and bean seedlings are sure to thrive under the enthusiastic TLC of our gardening gurus. A big shout-out to Leath and Bob Commens and Tony and Monica Lampard for kindly donating the seedlings.
