RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION IS SET TO KICK OFF THIS MONTH AT THE $340 MILLION GEMLIFE MORETON BAY OVER-50S LIFESTYLE RESORT.
GemLife Moreton Bay Sales Manager Sam Stevens said the start of Stage One residential building marked an exciting milestone at the nearly 150-hectare master-planned community.
“First slabs are expected to be poured mid-month, weather permitting, and our contract holders are beyond excited about move-in day getting closer,” Sam said.
“With just 83 home sites available in Stage One, our first release is nearly fully sold out. We have had an incredible response to the launch of this stunning, eco-inspired resort and I cannot wait to see it come together.

Stage One is located close to several of the resort’s state-of-the-art facilities, including the lakeside Country Club with a walkway to a private island, Summer House, Health Club, and a network of trails for walking and cycling. Stage Two is expected to be released towards the end of the year.
Sam added that GemLife’s civil construction team was continuing with ongoing works in Stage One, which are 50 percent complete, as well as work on the main boulevard and entry statement.
“Despite the rain, it’s been a hive of activity here and the team has been making steady progress site-wide, with earthworks underway throughout the resort’s future stages.”
GemLife Moreton Bay is surrounded by parklands, tree groves, wildlife-rich wetlands, conservation area trails, seven picturesque lakes, koala habitat corridors, and swathes of open green space. More than 60 percent of the site will be set aside for native revegetation and protected koala corridors.
