March 2021 Director’s Message

GemLife

As the first month of autumn begins, we are gearing up for an exciting and busy season ahead at GemLife.

GemLife Rainbow Beach, our newest resort on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, is generating a lot of enthusiastic interest with buyers who love the lifestyle on offer in this stunning coastal area. I am looking forward to meeting with our future and prospective homeowners at an exclusive launch event on Wednesday, 3 March. The GemLife team is also excited to get started on bulk earthworks this month.

In northern New South Wales at GemLife Tweed Waters, we have another special launch event planned on Wednesday, 10 March to celebrate development approval and share the latest details of what’s in store for this stylish boutique resort (see page 38). Civil works will be kicking off in the months ahead. Watch this space for progress updates.

On the Sunshine Coast, we celebrated a milestone last month with our 50th home settled at our rapidly growing community at GemLife Maroochy Quays. The resort’s muchanticipated country club is coming together beautifully and is on schedule for completion mid-year. We have another terrific open day coming up on Saturday, 27 March to officially open the resort’s picturesque boardwalk and showcase new display homes, including our firstever two-storey designs (see page 28).

At GemLife Pacific Paradise, construction on the outdoor pool and recreation precinct is moving ahead quickly and remains on track for opening in mid-2021.

In the Sunshine Coast hinterland, the team will host an exclusive site preview event at GemLife Palmwoods this month which will give buyers the opportunity to experience the ambience and natural beauty of the site (see page 32). Civil works are well under way and we expect home construction to kick off in the middle of the year.

Late last month we were thrilled to receive development approval for our flagship resort, GemLife Gold Coast and we cannot wait to start civil works in June. Meanwhile, progress on the state-of-the-art GemLife Gold Coast Experience Centre continues and we look forward to sharing updates next month.

At GemLife Woodend, our idyllic resort in the Macedon Ranges region, the team is busily preparing for an official opening of the country club on Saturday, 1 May – save the date and stay tuned for details next month. In Victoria, our country club has become a big talking point because there is nothing quite like it anywhere else in the state. Civil works in stages five and six continue to progress well.

GemLife is excited to get behind Cancer Council Australia’s annual fundraising initiative, Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, for the third year. Last year, despite COVID-19 restrictions, our residents across Australia did an incredible job, raising over $5000 for this very worthy cause. It’ll be great to see what our generous communities do this year (see page 3).

Lastly, GemLife is sponsoring the upcoming Noosa Surfing Festival. I look forward to sharing more information about this terrific ten-day community event next month.

Yours sincerely,

Adrian Puljich - Director & CEO
