THE COUNTDOWN FOR THE INAUGURAL GEMLIFE GAMES HAS BEGUN AND IT’S TIME TO FLY THE FLAG FOR YOUR RESORT!
The GemLife Games will be held on Friday, 8 September but nominations are open right now for resorts to register teams and individual representatives to compete in one of seven sports.
The sports showcased include tennis, pickleball, lawn bowls, ten pin bowling, golf simulator, table tennis, pool, and croquet.
“September might seem a long way off, but we’re encouraging homeowners, through their resort activity coordinators, to register their sporting teams straight away,” said GemLife Director and CEO Adrian Puljich.
“We’ve heard whispers that resorts have already planned competitions to ensure they field their very best players on the day. And with so many homeowners taking part in activities across our resorts, the competition is bound to be first rate.”
Hosted by GemLife Maroochy Quays, the GemLife Games is open to resort homeowners from Bribie Island, Highfields, Pacific Paradise, Palmwoods, and Woodend as both participants and spectators.
“We’re delighted that Woodend residents are making plans to come to the Sunshine Coast,” said Adrian.
“We’re asking GemLife homeowners at Maroochy Quays to open their homes to hospitality and new friendships.”

The GemLife Games will be fully catered on the day with a sausage sizzle, a coffee van and GemLife Chef Matt preparing lunch for both competitors and spectators.
