During the cooler months, residents have certainly appreciated being able to keep warm with the fully-customised flame-effect electric fireplaces that are standard inclusions here at GemLife Woodend.
However, there is no doubt we are all looking forward to the arrival of spring when we will be able to get rid of our scarves and beanies!
Spring is a time when the Macedon Ranges are abuzz with fairs and festivals, and gardens are at their magical best with many overflowing with roses, lavender, lilac, magnolia, rhododendrons and daffodils. It also brings with it opportunities to visit some of the area’s iconic and historic gardens as well as gaining inspiration from garden nurseries such as Mount Macedon’s Dicksonia Rare Plants Nursery.
This is the time of year when GemLife Woodend residents can visit local farmers’ markets to secure some of the best local produce or perhaps take part in cooking classes or artisan workshops and so many more activities both at our resort or at nearby locations.
The region is also renowned for its wine tasting opportunities including the Spring Sparkling Wine Lovers Trail in the Macedon Ranges.
Meanwhile, there is never a dull moment here at GemLife Woodend where construction in Stages Three and Four is continuing to progress well, bringing settlement day closer for many of our future residents who can’t wait to move in and start enjoying the wonderful over-50s lifestyle on offer. This includes our fabulous Country Club and its many facilities and activities.
Everyone is keenly awaiting our Final Stage Release Expressions of Interest Event to be held on 25 August (details below).
We will have a large selection of sites, each featuring one of 12 home designs, including 5 bespoke designs available for potential buyers in what is set to be an amazing opportunity to secure a place within our beautiful, pet-friendly resort.
