Stylish waterfront country club
The Tweed is famous for its relaxed coastal lifestyle, pristine beaches and water-based activities of every kind, setting the tone for the design of GemLife Tweed Waters’ sleek two-storey waterfront country club.
The ultra-modern, architecturally-designed country club takes full advantage of its position by the water, giving future residents plenty of places to look out upon the natural beauty of the resort’s surroundings.
GemLife Director and CEO Adrian Puljich said a show-stopping feature of the country club was the rooftop swimming pool and deck area, a first for GemLife.
“It’ll be a stunning place to swim, relax or socialise with friends and is sure to become a favourite spot for friends to hang out,” said Adrian.
The architecture of the country club was inspired by southern Californian mid-century modernism, adapted to reflect the Tweed’s unique character.
Incorporating a coastal material palette including stone and louvred feature walls, and interesting use of timber, the club wraps around the water-front to maximise a north-east aspect.
“With GemLife Tweed Waters, great design has remained front and centre of the vision for the resort in order to create modern, stylish yet functional spaces,” he said.
Facilities in and around the country club include an outdoor yoga studio, bar and cafe, gym studio, outdoor lounge areas, fire pits, barbecue facilities, cinema, a creative arts space and much more.
“The resort’s fantastic location on the water ensures residents can also enjoy the activities the area is famous for such as fishing, boating and water sports.”
GemLife Tweed Waters is a boutique over-50s resort that will feature just under 100 homes.
