Tea-riffic! Biggest Morning Tea

For the third consecutive year, GemLife has dug deep to help Cancer Council Australia raise much needed funds for vital cancer research, support services, prevention and advocacy programs, with the ultimate aim of bringing us closer to a cancer-free future.

Fundraising efforts for Cancer Council Australia’s annual Biggest Morning Tea – which officially took place on Thursday, 19 May – included a series of morning tea events across GemLife’s resorts, in addition to residents hosting their own morning teas.

GemLife Director & CEO Adrian Puljich said the generous contributions from everyone in the community had exceeded expectations.

“With the collective efforts we are well on our way to achieve our fundraising goal of $10,000. Coming together with friends old and new to enjoy a cuppa and some delicious morning tea fare is a wonderful way to raise funds for an important cause. Thank you to everyone who has contributed so far!” Adrian said. Personal and group donations can be made up until Tuesday, 19 July at

GemLife Brownie Drive

The GemLife Biggest Morning Tea Brownie Drive had an overwhelming response as homeowners and contract holders could not get enough of GemLife Chef Matt Conquest’s decadent lemon blondies and choc brownies.

Orders totalled 358 packs – 159 brownie boxes, 100 boxes of blondies, and 99 of the duo boxes of brownies and blondies – raising over $2,000 for Cancer Council Australia.
