Taking Your Dog Off-Leash on Bribie Island

Bribie Island is well-known as a great destination for humans of all ages.

But did you know it’s also a great place for man’s best friend?

With designated dog parks and beaches – including off-leash areas – Bribie Island has plenty of spaces that cater to dogs and their human owners alike.

Red Beach

Red Beach is Bribie Island’s main dog off-leash beach. Accessible via a path from the car park, it’s a stretch of what can only be described as dog heaven – a place where your dog can frolic to their heart’s content while you enjoy a quiet seat in the sandy shade.

Sand, water and dunes provide plenty of space for your four-legged friend to play, making Red Beach an ideal destination regardless of whether your dog prefers to take a dip, run around or play fetch.

Thanks to its small waves, it’s a relatively safe option for those dogs who think they’re actually dolphins.

And with ample access to vines and driftwood, you’ll find everything you need for a game of fetch right there at your fingertips.

Alternatively, you and your canine companion can take a walk for a couple of kilometres around the corner to the off-leash section of Woorim Beach.

Dogs at GemLife

At GemLife Bribie Island, we understand that your four-legged friends are an important part of your family.

So not only do we welcome dog owners and their dogs to our pet-friendly community – we also have designated dog off-leash areas to ensure you can enjoy the convenience of off-leash play just down the road from your home.
