September 2021 Director’s Message

Welcome to the September issue of the gem which features a whole new look and colour scheme. Over the coming months you’ll see GemLife rolling out a fresh, updated look across the board, something I see as a natural evolution in our brand’s journey and one which better reflects GemLife’s personality today.

This month’s newsletter celebrates the launch of our exciting and innovative new travel initiative, Explore by GemLife. We launched our first fleet of modern, luxurious Explore Jayco motorhomes, all featuring specially commissioned illustrations of iconic Aussie destinations, to residents in Queensland, with the launch in Victoria to take place as soon as restrictions ease. Each resort will have its own Explore motorhome which will be available exclusively for homeowners to hire for their next travel adventure (see opposite and pages 8-11 for more details).

At Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast, the construction and interior design teams have been busy putting the finishing touches on the GemLife Maroochy Quays Country Club. The grand opening of this spectacular new facility will take place on Saturday, 25 September at a not-to-be-missed open day, which will also include the public reveal of our Explore by GemLife motorhomes. Turn to page 30 for a country club sneak peek.

At GemLife Pacific Paradise, our premium resort on the Sunshine Coast, the outdoor pool and recreation precinct, the Paradise Pavilion, was launched at a special soiree for residents. This stylish new space has the feel of a luxe, boutique-style hotel and has already become a social hub for homeowners. Turn to page 24 to take a look.

In the Sunshine Coast hinterland at our GemLife Palmwoods site, the residential construction team is looking forward to commencing home construction this month, an exciting milestone that brings us closer to our first residents moving in. The civil engineering team also expects to get underway with works on the timber boardwalk in late September. Stay tuned for updates in The Gem next month.

On the Gold Coast, our civil engineering team will begin bulk earthworks next month, kicking off the first stage of construction at our flagship resort. Work on the state-of-the-art GemLife Gold Coast Sales Experience Centre continues to move ahead in leaps and bounds and I look forward to sharing updates with you next month, as we get nearer to completion.

At our tranquil country resort in rural Highfields near Toowoomba, we are planning an open day for Saturday, 16 October to show off some new display homes and our big, oversized blocks. See page 42 and save the date!

At our idyllic Victorian resort in the Macedon Ranges region, the much-anticipated final stage release EOI event took place last month online. The virtual event was an enormous success with future homeowners keen to secure themselves a brand-new home in the resort’s very last stage (see page 51).

Civil works at our Tweed resort are progressing well which includes preparing the site for early works on the stylish waterfront country club. Stage Two of our new resort on the stunning NSW Mid North Coast town of Lake Cathie, GemLife Rainbow Beach, was launched early thanks to strong sales. Turn to page 49 for more information.

Yours sincerely,

Adrian Puljich - Director & CEO
