Rain cannot dampen the enthusiasm of our civil construction team who are powering along with works on our GemLife Rainbow Beach site.
Meanwhile, winter may have just arrived, but locals are still enjoying perfect swimming conditions with the water temperature in the ocean still reaching the 20s.
When it comes to events, it has been a busy month for us all here at GemLife Rainbow Beach.
On 15 May Port Macquarie Golf Club held a terrific fun-filled golf day, sponsored by GemLife, which attracted many enthusiastic golfers who swung into action on the green. Golf is an extremely popular sport in this area and judging by the roll-up at the tee, there would be many who would revel at a chance to experience a golf simulator like the one future GemLife residents will be able to enjoy on site when our resort is complete.
Our over-50s lifestyle resort has sponsored a number of local organisations including the East Port Bowling Club, Lake Cathie Raiders Rugby League Club, Port Macquarie Golf Club and Lake Cathie Ladies Bowls Club.
The Port Macquarie Golf Club was also the venue for a special two-hour GemLife Rainbow Beach information night in May where excited contract holders and potential residents were able to receive an update on construction activity and have any questions answered.
Members of our sales team also took part in the Port Macquarie and Mid North Coast Retirement Village and Resort Expo which took place on 30 and 31 May. We were delighted with the interest in our resort, its beautiful high-quality modern homes and extraordinary facilities including our stunning two-storey country club and summer house.
This fabulous response is reflected in our sales which are really heating up with half of Stage One already under contract.
