Luxury homes and a five-star lifestyleKerrie and Livio Piva moved into GemLife Bribie Island in October 2018 and could not be happier.

Having made the decision to move from their home in Buderim, they visited many over 50s communities before finding GemLife Bribie Island.

“We fell in love with it instantly,” said Mrs Piva. “We looked at so many places but none of them compared to GemLife. The build quality and finishings, the spacious layout and the facilities around the Resort were perfect for us.”

GemLife prides itself on providing a unique community lifestyle for over 50s, combining luxury homes with a focus on health and wellbeing.

Facilities around the Resort include a floodlit tennis court, bowling green, bocce court, putting green, fenced off-leash dog run, workshop and outdoor pool, just to name a few.

Luxury homes and a five-star lifestyleAdded to this is the newly completed Country Club, a luxury two-storey facility overlooking beautiful Dux Lake.

Five-star facilities inside the Country Club include a heated pool and spa, sauna, state-of-the-art gymnasium, cinema, bowling alley, golf simulator, games room, music room, library arts and crafts room, beauty salon and meeting rooms.

The Grand Ballroom is a spectacular area for events and performances, with a stage, dancefloor and commercial kitchen.

Residents recently enjoyed a formal lunch in the Ballroom to celebrate the Country Club’s completion and handover to home owners.

“The handover ceremony to residents was a great milestone for the Resort and home owners,” said Ben Livingstone, GemLife General Manager. “The Country Club is the hub of the GemLife community with five-star leisure, relaxation and exercise facilities.

“An active lifestyle has so many health benefits, particularly as we age and our muscles lose flexibility. Similarly, it is important to maintain social connections for emotional health and wellbeing,” said Mr Livingstone.

Like all the residents at Bribie Island, the Pivas are very excited about the Country Club and the amazing facilities they can enjoy.

The public Grand Opening of the Country Club is scheduled for Saturday 16 March with an Open Day that is expected to attract around 500 visitors. Display homes will be open and stock homes available for purchase on the day.
