Strong sales of the stage one release of GemLife Rainbow Beach, GemLife’s first Over-50s resort on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, will see Stage Two at the Lake Cathie site launching soon.
More than 80 per cent of Stage One is now sold, with home buyers from the local region, greater Sydney, and interstate snapping up sites.
GemLife Rainbow Beach Sales Manager Craig Dixon said the quality of the total lifestyle package on offer at GemLife had powerful appeal with nothing comparable in the market.
“In New South Wales, what we offer at GemLife Rainbow Beach hasn’t been seen before by buyers,” Craig said.
“They are wowed by the quality of the homes and the range of premium inclusions provided. In the local market, and in NSW for that matter, GemLife definitely stands out,” he said.
“Together with the superb range of high-quality facilities at the country club and the outdoor recreational precinct, it’s pretty hard to beat.”
Craig added that the resort’s proximity to major shopping centres, hospitals and medical services in nearby Port Macquarie was another major drawcard, in addition to the unbeatable beaches and remarkable natural beauty of the region.
“Port Macquarie, which is a major regional centre, is just 20 minutes away. There is plenty of shopping and great places to eat there, two major hospitals, plus local health services nearby,” he said.
“This is a beautiful part of Australia with so much to offer. The mild weather is perfect and, if you Google ‘Australia’s most temperate climate’, Port Macquarie comes up as number one.” Another big selling point for buyers is the resort’s location which is approximately halfway between Sydney and the Gold Coast.
“Quite a number of contract holders have family in Sydney and the Gold Coast. Lake Cathie is about four and a half hours away from each, which makes visiting family from either end of the east coast much easier,” Craig said.
“I am excited and inspired by what’s to come at GemLife Rainbow Beach. It really will open up possibilities for over-50s to live life to the fullest.”
When completed, GemLife Rainbow Beach will feature 178 homes. Homeowners can choose from eleven two-bedroom plus multipurpose room home designs, with unrivalled levels of customisation available, including multiple colour-schemes and facade options.
Facilities at GemLife Rainbow Beach will include a luxury two-storey country club with an indoor swimming pool and spa, sundeck, sauna, tenpin bowling, golf simulator, cinema, wine room, rooftop terrace and lounge, bar and cafe, in addition to an outdoor pool, barbecue areas, tennis courts, community garden and, being a pet-friendly environment, an off-leash dog run.
