GemLife Highfields welcomes new resort managers

Kristyn Ling and Sean Hornsby were looking to chase the sun when they decided to move to Queensland from Tasmania recently and the timing could not have been better.

The couple’s arrival coincided with an opening at GemLife Highfields for resort managers, a role they have taken up and embraced with great enthusiasm.

Kristyn, an administration and property management specialist, and Sean, a former scaffolder said they jumped at the chance to manage the rural over-50s lifestyle resort.

“It is so beautiful here and what luxury! The residents, homes, facilities, and our own managers’ residence are just incredible, and we couldn’t wait to become part of this amazing community,” said Kristyn, who spends most of her time in the office while Sean attends to the gardening and outdoor jobs.

Kristyn, who was born in Malaysia and raised in Sydney, said the couple looked forward to getting to know homeowners and building new relationships as well as seeing and experiencing some of the local sights and community events.

“We love everything about the resort and plan to be here for a long time providing a top service for all the residents, many of whom have already made us feel so welcome.”
