Our GemLife resorts celebrated the racing season in style with four superb events that saw attendees dressed in their spring racing finest to celebrate Australia’s most exciting thoroughbred race.
GemLife Sales & Marketing Director, Andrew Coulter, said it was great to see current, future and prospective residents from across multiple resorts getting into the spirit of the Melbourne Cup and the spring racing season.
“Everyone had a great time celebrating and looked terrific in their spring racing outfits. We can’t wait to do it all again next year,” he said.
GemLife Bribie Island
Our Bribie residents, current and future, got into the action, atmosphere and excitement of the Melbourne Cup at a fun-filled pavilion party at the Bribie Island RSL.
GemLife Highfields
With a live telecast of the race from Flemington Racecourse, our current and prospective Highfields’ residents socialised and cheered on their favourite horses over a leisurely lunch at the country club ballroom.
As part of the fun, guests took to the catwalk, vying for best-dressed prizes. Congratulations to:

GemLife Pacific Paradise
Meanwhile at Pacific Paradise, prospective and future residents celebrated trackside at the Sunshine Coast Turf Club for a Melbourne Cup Pavillion Party, socialising over lunch and drinks.
GemLife Woodend
Last, but not least, GemLife’s spring racing celebrations wrapped up with a high-end trackside experience – the Kyneton Cup Day. GemLife Woodend guests enjoyed all the excitement of this historic country racing event (the first cup day was in 1873) for a terrific ending to a big few days of racing fun.
