GemLife Bribie Island Country Club Takes Top Honours
GemLife Bribie Island’s $8.5M lakeside Country Club took top honours at the prestigious Master Builders Queensland Housing & Construction Awards 2019 in the Community Service Facilities category.
Held in Brisbane last Friday night, the awards honour the year’s best building and construction projects across the Brisbane region. The Bribie Island clubhouse, officially launched in March this year, marks GemLife’s first housing and construction award for its new over 50s lifestyle resorts.
GemLife Bribie Island’s resort-style country club delivers exceptional recreational and leisure facilities for its over 50s community. The Bribie clubhouse forms a lifestyle hub for its residents, offering everything from a heated indoor swimming pool, floodlit tennis court, covered championship-grade bowling green and ten pin bowling alley, to cinema, library, bar and cafe.
Adrian Puljich, GemLife CEO & Director, said the two-level Hamptons-style clubhouse, which overlooks a seven-hectare lake, was designed to support active, engaged living for its community.
“We take great pride in the Bribie Island clubhouse winning top honours in the Community Service Facilities category. It validates all the hard work our team put into the concept, design and construction of this very special facility,” he said.
“We set out to shake-up expectations and deliver something new and fresh in the retirement space. The Bribie Island clubhouse has done exactly that. It gives our residents maximum opportunity to connect, engage and enjoy a quality lifestyle,” he said.
The Master Builders’ Housing and Construction Awards celebrate the achievements of those at the forefront of building and construction, recognising the year’s most outstanding projects in Queensland. The award was given for the Master Builder’s Brisbane Region which automatically progresses GemLife Bribie Island to the State finals to be held in November.
GemLife launched in late 2016 and now has six over 50s resorts across Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales.
