February 2021 Director’s Message

GemLife

With 2021 kicking into gear, the GemLife team is anticipating another exciting year ahead.

Last month we were thrilled to receive development approval for our boutique resort in northern New South Wales, GemLife Tweed Waters. We look forward to commencing civil works in the coming months and sharing progress updates about this very special resort.

Our newest resort on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, GemLife Rainbow Beach, continues to attract a lot of interest amongst buyers looking to enjoy the incredible lifestyle on offer in what is one of the most beautiful coastal areas in Australia. Bulk earthworks are due to begin next month.

On the Sunshine Coast, we saw many new residents call GemLife Maroochy Quays home – it’s been great to see this community grow. The resort’s much-anticipated country club continues to take shape, with the roof due to be completed this month.

Construction on the outdoor pool and recreation precinct at GemLife Pacific Paradise is continuing and remains on track for opening in mid-2021.

At our Sunshine Coast hinterland resort in the charming town of Palmwoods, early works on the resort’s boardwalk will begin this month.

When completed, the boardwalk – which will be built alongside the picturesque banks of the creek – will provide a peaceful spot to enjoy a walk in the great outdoors. With civil works on schedule, home construction is expected to begin in the middle of the year.

The GemLife Gold Coast Experience Centre is steadily coming together and we cannot wait to open what will be a unique and immersive environment to give prospective homeowners a multi-dimensional picture of our flagship resort.

At our idyllic Woodend resort in Victoria’s Macedon Ranges region, it’s been fantastic to see our residents enjoy the new facilities at the country club, as well as the outdoor recreational precinct, with friends and family. Civil works on stages five and six are now under way.

The enthusiastic response from residents and friends to our eco-friendly digital Christmas card fund-raising initiative at the end of 2020 was terrific. GemLife donated one dollar to one of three different charities selected by the card recipient. I’m pleased to announce that a total of $3,060 was raised collectively for the Salvation Army, The Smith Family and Mission Australia.

I’d also like to take this opportunity to remind our community shutterbugs about our resortwide residents’ photography contest. Back for a second year and based on the theme ‘a whole new life’, we invite current and future residents to submit photos for a chance to be featured in the GemLife 2022 calendar.

Yours sincerely,

Adrian Puljich - Director & CEO
