Country Club a step closer

WORK ON THE $12 MILLION GEMLIFE TWEED WATERS COUNTRY CLUB IS PROGRESSING WELL AND REMAINS ON TRACK TO OPEN IN EARLY 2025.

“Our commercial construction team has been busy completing all the ground slabs and structural walls, and has now started on suspended slabs and form work on the first floor,” said GemLife Tweed Waters Sales Manager, Melanie Graham.

“It’s exciting to see it starting to take shape with the design created to make the most of its waterfront position, giving residents plenty of places to look out upon the natural beauty of the resort’s surroundings.”

The sleek two-storey Country Club will be ultra-modern and, inspired by southern Californian mid-century modernism, provide something for all residents including a lovely, shaded area from which to watch the lawn bowls on the first level, and a pickleball court and swimming pool on the ground level.

Facilities in and around the Country Club will also include an outdoor yoga studio, bar and cafe, gym studio, outdoor lounge areas, fire pits, barbecue facilities, cinema, a creative arts space and much more.

“It’ll be a stunning place to swim, relax and socialise with friends and is sure to become a favourite spot for everyone to hang out,” said Melanie.

Melanie said there was a lot to look forward to when the Country Club was completed such as an impressive interior which will incorporate a coastal material palette including stone and louvred feature walls to maximise its north-easterly aspect.

The Country Club will also feature a grand ballroom with theatre stage, a commercial kitchen, a private cinema, library and ten-pin bowling alley along with a bar overlooking the canal which boasts a jetty and pontoon.
