August 2021 Director’s Message

Welcome to the August issue of The Gem. In this month’s newsletter we focus on the importance of pets and how GemLife’s pet-friendly environments not only keep our animal friends happy, but also spark lots of new human connections.

On the Sunshine Coast, the Final Stage release at GemLife Maroochy Quays kicked off at a lakeside marquee event last month with prospective owners enjoying the resort’s serene water and green views while having all their questions answered (see page 22). This stage offers some superb lakeside sites and home designs, among others, and with sites being snapped up, we anticipate the resort will sell out quickly. The GemLife team is also excited for the grand opening of the resort’s spectacular lakeside country club next month on Saturday, 25 September (see page 36). The sleek, contemporary building is coming together rapidly and represents a different look and feel from our other country clubs. Turn to page 14 to read about some of the interior design highlights. The grand opening will be part of a public open day that will also include the big reveal of our Explore by GemLife initiative – something the team cannot wait to show off! Be sure to catch next month’s issue of The Gem for all the exciting details!

GemLife Pacific Paradise, our premium resort on the Sunshine Coast, launched its Final Stage release last month at an exclusive VIP event at the Twin Waters Golf Club. Buyers love the resort’s fantastic location, which is in a peaceful, well-established area in walking distance to local shopping while still being close to stunning beaches and the Sunshine Coast’s many attractions. The outdoor pool and recreation precinct, the Paradise Pavilion, is almost ready, and residents are eager for this beautiful new facility to officially open on Friday, 20 August. The stylish new space mirrors the look and feel of a luxe, boutique-style hotel with many stand-out design features that are sure to impress. Turn to page 20 to read about what’s in store.

Also coming up this month, is the much-anticipated Final Stage release Expressions of Interest (EOI) event at GemLife Woodend, our idyllic resort in Victoria’s Macedon Ranges region. This last stage is currently being built out due to buyer demand for move-in-ready homes, and with limited sites available, we expect the resort to be fully sold very soon (see page 50 for event details).

On site at our flagship GemLife Gold Coast resort, the civil engineering team is set to start bulk earthworks next month, beginning the first stage of construction at what will be a truly incredible resort. Work on the state-of-the-art GemLife Gold Coast Sales Experience Centre has been moving ahead in leaps and bounds. The roof is now on and work on the external cladding has begun. The centre will offer a unique, fully immersive sales experience for prospective buyers, with a full suite of standard inclusions on show, a huge, show-stopping selections room, plus so much more.

Stage One of our new resort at the scenic seaside town of Lake Cathie, GemLife Rainbow Beach, is now more than 80 per cent sold out, and we look forward to launching Stage Two in the very near future (see opposite page). The Mid North Coast is a magnificent part of the Australian coastline and being midway between Sydney and the Gold Coast is ideal for those with family located in both places.

Finally, the GemLife team was excited to commence civil works last month at Tweed Waters. I look forward to sharing progress reports in upcoming issues of The Gem.

Yours sincerely,

Adrian Puljich - Director & CEO
