GemLife prides itself on creating a pet-friendly environment and in this month’s issue, with International Cat Day and International Dog Day taking place on 8 August and 26 August respectively, we celebrate our four-legged residents, in addition to our feathered and finned friends.
At GemLife we understand the importance of pets in people’s everyday lives. Pets are part of the family and play a big role in providing companionship, reducing stress, as well as bringing people together socially. GemLife’s off-leash dog parks are always a big hit with our canine residents and are a spot to meet up with neighbours and make new friends.
Construction across all our sites continued to power ahead last month.
In July on the Sunshine Coast, GemLife Maroochy Quays had its very first open day with nearly 200 hundred people registering to see our stunning new display homes. Works progressed well on the resort’s future outdoor pool precinct, timber boardwalk and lakeside country club. A milestone was reached with the start of construction of the first country club wall. The managers’ residence and the resort entry on Charlston Place were also completed.
Our premium GemLife Pacific Paradise resort has its first display homes open day coming up on Saturday, 8 August. For those who crave extra luxurious touches and more space, register to take a look inside some of our stunning home designs at the GemLife Pacific Paradise Display Homes Grand Opening. In July, we saw more residents moving into their new homes and it’s wonderful to watch the community start to grow. The resort’s impressive entryway was finished and the managers’ residence is nearing completion.
It was wonderful to see the terrific turn-out for our GemLife Bribie Island Stage Four Display Homes Grand Opening last month. At GemLife Bribie Island, our lake management plan remains on track with dredging now underway. Desilting works, together with the resort’s floating wetland system, will ensure the best possible water quality in Dux Lake.
Construction of Stage Two villas continues and civil works on GemLife Highfields stages three, four and five continue to power ahead.
Construction of GemLife Woodend’s new lakeside country club has been completed and the opening, originally planned for July, has been delayed due to Victoria’s increase in COVID-19 transmission. Work continues on the outdoor recreational precinct which will include bocce and pickleball courts, in addition to a BBQ pavilion.
Last month we received exciting news that development approval was issued for a new GemLife over-50s lifestyle resort in Palmwoods, an idyllic area in the Sunshine Coast hinterland.
I’m also pleased to announce that our new flagship resort, GemLife Gold Coast‘s stylish new sales office is now open.
