All the fun of the fair! – GemLife LifeChanger Carnival comes to Maroochy Quays
WINTER SCHOOL HOLIDAY FUN COMES TO GEMLIFE MAROOCHY QUAYS AND EVERYONE IS INVITED!
GemLife, in partnership with the youth charity LifeChanger, will host a carnival on Thursday, 4 July at GemLife Maroochy Quays that homeowners and contract holders from all resorts, along with their grandchildren, are invited to attend.
Featuring games and events for all ages, face-painting, an animal farm and more, the day kicks off at 10am and includes lunch provided by GemLife Chef Matt as well as a program of exciting activities from LifeChanger that are designed to get everyone up and moving.
Among the special guests on the day are LifeChanger ambassador, ironwoman Karla Gilbert. She is a gold medal-winning surf lifesaver who won three Australian Championships and was the winner of the national ironwoman series for seven consecutive years from 1995.
Now a health coach, Karla’s good nutrition talk for grandparents and grandkids is sure to inspire.
GemLife is proud to bring back the family fun day from last year in a new and imaginative way thanks to the partnership with LifeChanger.
“There is nothing more important than family,” said GemLife Director and CEO Adrian Puljich.
“And the role that grandparents play in supporting and raising the next generation cannot be overestimated.
“The LifeChanger Carnival is a way to bring a spirit of fun and connection to create lasting memories.”
Activities planned by LifeChanger include:
- Team building session
- Kids arts and crafts session
- Grandparents egg and spoon race
- What is LifeChanger session
- Karla Gilbert’s good nutrition talk for grandparents and kids
“LifeChanger empowers young people to lead fulfilling lives by nurturing their social, emotional and resilience skills, as well as fostering strong community connections,” said Adrian.
“In addition to having a fun day out with the grandkids, the carnival is a great way for homeowners to meet the team, find out more about what they do, such as their schools’ mentorship program, an initiative that has GemLife’s full support.”
The GemLife LifeChanger Carnival is a free event open to all homeowners and contract holders.
