GemLife Bribie Island welcomed its 150th residents today, Owen and Denise Cowley, with a milestone celebration at their beautiful new resort-style home on the Sunshine Coast.
The couple, originally from Hervey Bay, said the quality of the homes was the biggest factor in their decision to move into the resort when they decided to downsize from their large acreage property.
Mr Cowley said that the resort’s five-star facilities added to the appeal, but the couple were sold on the homes alone.
“We shopped around a bit, in person and online, but the fittings, fixtures and finishes at the GemLife homes were of higher quality,” Mr Cowley said.
“Actually, we didn’t even look at the Country Club facilities until today. It has everything you could want and just adds to the experience. We’re really happy.”
Sun, sea and the great outdoors at GemLife Bribie Islands premium location was another attraction, of course, offering endless opportunities for an active, healthy lifestyle.
Our Bribie Island over 50s resort boasts everything from a cinema, bowling alley, golf simulator and gym, to an indoor heated pool, flood-lit tennis court and a championship-grade covered bowling green. A BBQ pontoon boat was also added to the growing list of features to take advantage of the water.
